Crocodile Hunter
A nuclear power plant may seem a strange place to find crocodiles, but that’s exactly where Biologist Joe Wasilewski finds them. Each summer, Florida’s own “crocodile hunter” spends several months catching, tagging and releasing crocodiles that live in the cooling canals surrounding the Turkey Point Nuclear Power Plant in Homestead. Hunter Reno joins him on a nightly trek to monitor the plant’s thriving croc population.
